SS sure shopped.

P had jury duty and had to return this afternoon for about two hours. That gave us a rare opportunity to be at home on the same day other than our Sundays.

SS is used to shop with just one of us. Today we had breakfast and lunch together. Went to Costco and grocery shopping. SS spent a lot today. It was good to get some family time. Next stop is family swimming.

Wish I could shop like SS.

Smoothie, iPad and Baba pushes her to point what she wants. And we wonder why she is so entitled. Me? I get to push the cart with the groceries.

Why she doesn't gain weight.

We get her a sandwich with garlic Parmesan fries, and SS asks for my broccoli. Odd bird this one.

Because she's going to summer camp, not school. Still, we will take it.

You know you are getting old...

When you ask for your van to be detailed as a wedding anniversary present. It really needed to be done, no regrets about the cost.

The actual gift was the four hours P and SS diddled around, waiting for the van. On what was supposed to be P's day off. Thank you both.

All that activity will hopefully equal an early bedtime.

So glad Sonic made its way to Southern California.

Their cherry limeades totally rock. Reminds us of SS having her first one in Northern California when she was a two year old. I'm going to have to look for that picture.

And she walked out with a light up Star Wars backpack, and an Olaf towel. Nice anniversary present for us. I said no but Baba thought the items were a must.

When we do get her a puppy it's going to be a Basset Hound. They walk slow.

Reminding us how much she wants a puppy.

And no way is it going to happen until we have more space.

San Juan BBQ

Tomorrow is our wedding anniversary but I will be working, so P decided to have our celebratory lunch today. He found this little gem and we are about to indulge in food we have not had in a while.

Funny, they have two pictures, El Yunque and La Garita del Diablo, both visited on our first trip to Puerto Rico with SS. Good memories from that one visit.

Super Hero day at the ballpark.

P's job had discounted tickets to Super Hero day at the local ballpark, plus a BBQ dinner. SS's super hero obsession served us well, since we were able to borrow her Hulk mask/fists, and Captain America Shield. We were the best accessorized among a sea of just super hero T-shirts. And the breeze makes me look like I went through a wind tunnel. SS received a Spiderman kite, a comic book and had her picture taken with a special guest.

Happy

Because she bamboozled Baba into buying her more clothes she does not need.

Last day of second grade.
