Looks like you are having a great time! How's the weather?

Hi Michelle,

Weather is great, especially since it hit 110 degrees home the day we left. Grandpa lives in Wailuku, very close to the Iao Needle, and his place gets a nice breeze. Far better than when he lived in Kihei.

Talk about serendipity, P saw the mom and 4 girls that were part of our travel group. He was alone making a diaper and soda run so he did not feel confident approaching them. He did snap a picture with his cell phone, a far greater transgression in my book. :) Their youngest was only six months on family day and she looked so long legged in her Ergo. Glad to know I'm not the only one schlepping my child around in an Ergo.

No way! What a coincidence. Do they live there, or were they on vacation? I would have said Hi!

Michelle,

The family lives here, when we went to China, they lived down the street from Grandpa. We think they have moved since, but are still in the island.

I wish I had been with P because I would have said hi. The thing about our travel group is that the parents do not even make an effort to keep in touch. Obviously the reunions many groups hold annually are out of the question. We send Christmas cards and only 3 out of the 13 families have reciprocated. We would like to see the children as they grow, but it just was not a cohesive group.
