Sorry that it has taken so long to get back to you. Your original guess of arroz con broccoli cracked us up. Just that day, we told the Abus about a couple in our travel group (province and overall) in China. They only ate white rice and broccoli for two weeks (except when they had "American" food), because they could not find anything to eat in China.
